Minister for National Development and Minister-in-charge of Social Services Integration, Mr Desmond Lee, is making his introductory visit to Indonesia from 22 to 24 March 2022. Mr Lee is visiting Jakarta and Central Java. 

In Jakarta, Mr Lee will meet members of the Indonesian Government, including Coordinating Minister for Economic Affairs, Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of National Development Planning, Suharso Monoarfa and Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning Sofyan Djalil. In addition, Mr Lee will meet Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan and West Java Governor Ridwan Kamil.

In Central Java, Mr Lee will meet Central Java Governor Ganjar Pranowo and Kendal Regent Mr Dico Ganinduto to exchange ideas on deepening cooperation between Singapore and Central Java. Mr Lee will also visit the Kendal Industrial Park in Central Java, which was officially opened by Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong and President Joko Widodo in November 2016. 

Mr Lee is accompanied by officials from the Ministry of National Development.
