Senior Minister of State (SMS), Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of National Development, Sim Ann, will visit Tianjin, China, from 27 to 28 September 2023 to commemorate the 15th anniversary of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-City.

As part of her visit, SMS Sim will witness the Completion Ceremony for the Sino-Singapore Friendship Garden located in the Eco-City, and participate in the Forum on Sustainable Urban Development, organised by Keppel Group and supported by the Eco-City Administrative Committee. During the Forum, she will deliver a keynote address highlighting the Eco-City’s achievements over the past 15 years and outline how Singapore and China will continue to enhance bilateral cooperation on the project. SMS Sim will also call on Tianjin’s Vice Mayor Mr Zhu Peng to discuss opportunities for strengthening collaboration between Singapore and Tianjin.

SMS Sim will be accompanied by Singapore’s Ambassador to China Mr Peter Tan, as well as officials from the Ministry of National Development and the National Parks Board.
