CapitaLand Investment appoints Hsieh Fu Hua as deputy chairman

CapitaLand Investment (CLI) has announced the appointment of Hsieh Fu Hua as deputy chairman and non-executive independent director, with effect from Aug 12.
His appointment comes as CLI “accelerates its growth ambitions as a leading global real asset manager”, the company said on Aug 11. It adds that the appointment enhances the board’s breadth of experience across financial markets, investment management, corporate governance and organisational leadership.
The 75-year-old Hsieh is the co-founder and advisor of boutique corporate finance firm PrimePartners Group. He is also chairman of GXS Bank, a digital bank owned by Grab and Singtel, and a director of Singapore sovereign wealth fund GIC.

In addition, he serves as the chairman of the National University of Singapore and WWF Singapore.
Before this, he held several leadership roles, notably as CEO of Singapore Exchange from March 2003 to November 2009. He was also president of Temasek Holdings, and chairman of United Overseas Bank, Tiger Airways, Asia Capital Reinsurance Group and Eastpring Investments Group.
