Galven Tan resigns as Knight Frank Singapore CEO; Low Kin Hon named interim chief

Galven Tan has resigned as CEO of Knight Frank Singapore to pursue new opportunities, the firm announced on July 28.

"We thank Galven for his contributions to the business over the past two and a half years and wish him well," Knight Frank said in the release.

Deputy CEO and head of valuation & advisory Low Kin Hon has taken over day-to-day leadership of the Singapore business as interim CEO, effective immediately. Craig Shute, CEO of Knight Frank Asia-Pacific since April 1, 2025, will provide oversight "to ensure continuity for our people and clients".

The leadership change comes amid a broader shake-up at Knight Frank Singapore since Knight Frank Asia-Pacific bought out the remaining 55% stake in the business in October 2025. The regional arm paid former stakeholder AF Global $36.89 million for the stake, giving it full ownership of the Singapore business.

Just a day earlier, on July 27, Knight Frank said it would exit Singapore's property agency business and wind down KF Property Network by the end of 2026, as Knight Frank looks to sharpen its focus on capital markets, occupier strategy and property management. It also wants to focus on closer regional integration, according to the announcement.

Tan joined Knight Frank Singapore in February 2024. He was previously deputy managing director of investment sales and capital markets at Savills Singapore, which he joined in November 2019 alongside Jeremy Lake, the former CBRE Singapore head of investment. Before that, Tan spent 15 years at CBRE, rising to executive director of investment and working closely with Lake.
