Pan Pacific Hotels Group (PPHG) is accelerating investment in Southeast Asia. The UOL Group subsidiary has 10 new-build or major renovation projects planned across the region in 2027 as part of its ongoing portfolio transformation.
New properties comprise Pan Pacific Phnom Penh; Parkroyal Siem Reap; Siam Pan Pacific Bangkok; Pan Pacific Serviced Suites Thonglor, Bangkok; Parkroyal Hanoi; Parkroyal Serviced Suites Manila Bay and Parkroyal Jakarta.
Properties that will be renovated are Parkroyal Serviced Suites Kuala Lumpur; Parkroyal Gurney Bay Penang and Parkroyal Collection Pickering, Singapore.

The projects are part of PPHG’s “Version 2.0” strategy, which aims to change “not only how PPHG’s hotels look, but how they operate and engage with guests”, the group said in a release.
The strategy brings together internationally recognised architects and designers, biophilic and wellbeing-led design, enhanced sustainability infrastructure and technology-enabled experiences in a “comprehensive transformation” of PPHG’s portfolio.
Over half of the portfolio has undergone the programme since 2020, including newly built, redesigned or significantly renovated properties. Among these are the 237-room Pan Pacific London, which opened in 2021 and Pan Pacific Orchard, Singapore, which debuted in 2023.
The transformation comes amid an evolving hospitality landscape, with the boundaries between work, leisure, wellbeing and personal time becoming “increasingly fluid”, PPHG observed.
“The market has moved, and we have to move with it,” said Choe Peng Sum, CEO of PPHG. “People are living differently, and therefore they are travelling differently.”
Against this backdrop, PPHG aims to make each brand under its portfolio “more distinctive and more relevant to the market it serves”. “Our ambition is to have a portfolio where each brand has a clear reason to exist, but where the group as a whole has the operating breadth to capture different forms of demand,” Choe explained.

PHG owns and manages over 50 hotels, resorts and serviced suites across three brands: the luxury offering Pan Pacific, the upscale proposition Parkroyal, and Parkroyal Collection, which comprises hotels positioned around nature, sustainability and wellbeing.
