Sun Xueling Leads Singapore Delegation To G20 Agriculture Ministers' Meeting
International knowledge exchange could support more productive and resilient domestic agriculture, potentially influencing future demand for technology-enabled and sustainable food-production facilities.
Sun Xueling represented Singapore at the G20 Agriculture Ministers’ Meeting on 27–28 July 2018, focusing on technology, sustainable agriculture, productivity and food security.

Sun Xueling, Senior Parliamentary Secretary for Home Affairs and National Development will be in Buenos Aires, Argentina from 27 – 28 Jul 2018 for the G20 Agriculture Ministers' Meeting (AMM).
The 2018 G20 AMM discussions will focus on enhancing global food security and nutrition by increasing agricultural productivity, through innovative and sustainable agricultural practices and technologies.
Ms Sun said, “The G20 AMM is a useful opportunity for member economies and invited countries to discuss a broad range of issues on agriculture and food security. We look forward to sharing Singapore’s use of technology and innovation to increase productivity and improve the resilience of our food sector. Likewise, we would like to learn from member countries on how they have used technology to transform the industry and address challenges.”
Ms Sun is accompanied by officials from the Ministry of National Development and the Agri-Food & Veterinary Authority.
