Joint MND-HDB Press Release on the Prime Location Public Housing (PLH) Model
The tighter eligibility and rental conditions may constrain the investor and resale buyer pools while preserving prime public housing primarily for owner-occupation.
PLH resale flats require an eligible family nucleus, a prevailing $14,000 income ceiling and no recent private-property ownership, while whole-flat rentals remain prohibited.
