Two units at Haus on Handy in Dhoby Ghaut listed for auction at $2.3 mil and $3.1 mil
The immediate rental income, flexible layouts and limited resale supply may support investor interest, although guide prices above $3,000 psf could test demand in District 9.
Two tenanted Haus on Handy units will be auctioned on Sept 17 at guide prices of $2.28 million and $3.1 million, both above their March 2023 purchase prices.

Two units — a two-bedder and a three-bedroom dual-key home — at Haus on Handy will go on the block at Knight Frank’s upcoming auction on Sept 17. Offered via an owner’s sale, this is the first time the properties are going under the hammer, says Sharon Lee, executive director of auction and sales at Knight Frank Singapore.
The two-bedroom unit on the seventh floor carries a guide price of $2.28 million, which translates to $3,069 psf on its floor area of 743 sq ft. According to caveats lodged, it was previously purchased from the developer for $2.03 million ($2,731 psf) in March 2023.
The unit, which is partially furnished, includes a study and a master bedroom with an attached balcony.

Meanwhile, the 980 sq ft, three-bedroom unit has a guide price of $3.1 million ($3,163 psf). Before this, the developer had sold it for $2.72 million ($2,779 psf) in March 2023.
The dual-key unit features a shared foyer with separate entrances to a studio and a main apartment. The studio has a kitchenette and an en suite bathroom, while the main apartment includes the master bedroom, a common room, the living area and the kitchen.
Lee says both units are currently tenanted, allowing prospective buyers to enjoy immediate rental income and resilient yields.
She expects the properties to appeal to investors drawn to flexible layouts, particularly the dual-key configuration, which could be “ideal for dual-tenancy strategies or renting to young professionals working in the Downtown Core or CBD”.
Located along Handy Road, just off Orchard Road in prime District 9, Haus on Handy is a 188-unit condo completed in 2023. It features two towers of nine and 12 storeys, with one- to three-bedroom units ranging from 420 to 1,141 sq ft. There are also six three-bedroom, dual-key units of 980 sq ft.
The 99-year leasehold project is a three-minute walk from Dhoby Ghaut MRT Interchange, while retail and lifestyle amenities at Plaza Singapura, The Cathay, GR.iD and Parklane Shopping Mall are within a two- to four-minute walk.

Lee notes that units at the fully sold development are tightly held. Based on URA caveats, Haus on Handy has recorded just one resale transaction so far: a 463 sq ft one-bedder on the sixth floor that fetched $1.2 million ($2,588 psf) on Aug 13.
In 2023, the developer sold 32 units at an average price of $2,747 psf. The units, ranging from 646 to 1,141 sq ft, transacted at prices between $2,609 psf and $2,919 psf.
